FREEDOM FROM OTHER HARMFUL SUBSTANCES
YKK India certifies that its products are free of the following banned/controlled/harmful substances:

(1) PCP (Penta-Chloro-Phenol): Zipper products produced by YKK Corporation and its subsidiaries observe Ūko-Tex Standard #105 for PCP Content. They do not contain PCP exceeding 0.05 ppm.
(2) AZO Dyestuffs: AZO Dyestuff are prohibited in certain countries such as Germany. YKK does not use these kinds of dyestuff for textile goods such as Zipper tapes, Hook & Loop Fasteners, narrow Fabrics, etc.

LEAD CONTENT
Lead Content in the paint used by YKK for enameling sliders is below detectable levels, except for paint White G-2 in which the Lead content is 0.033 %, which is still well below the norm of 0.06% laid down in Clause 1303.1 of Consumer Product Safety Commission (USA).
